Forum,
Do I have a case? Last summer I went to a quick change Valvoline for an oil change. They put in the wrong oil 0-20 instead of 5-30. Knew there was problem when the oil
gauge seemed out of order. Checked around and a mechanic mentioned there is oil with a 0-20 viscosity. When changing the oil to 5-30 the oil gauge read as it should. Two
days ago the engine began to rattle. Brought it to a reputable mechanic and sounds like bad rod bearings. What would you do?? The engine has only 70,000 miles on it. Any and
all thoughts welcome.
