Gas drips out of carburetor

I bought a brand new carburetor and when my left side of the tractor is on a slop facing down gas drips out of the carburetor and floods the engine. I contacted the people I bought the carburetor from and they send me a new one and it is doing the exact same thing what could this be?

Danielbrazzle,The float could be hanging up when the tractor is at an angle on a slope.Or the float level could be set to high causing it to flood over when on a slope.

They don't test them, they just slap them together and ship them.
That's why they're so cheap they'll give you two for the price of one.

I agree with Den, your carb likely has a mis-adjusted or dragging float.
With the sloppy tolerances, probably dragging on the side of the bowl.

If you still have the original Marvel Schebler it can probably be fixed.

It does sound like a stuck float, but don't rule out the possibility that you may have bad O-rings on the fuel shut off petcock.
