Stuck clutch - past advice yields results

Just a quick thank you to all who've submitted ideas for unsticking an 8N clutch. I power washed my tractor getting it ready for the mowing season and a few days later the clutch was stuck bad - apparently a known problem for old Fords. A quick search of this site gave me several things to try. I chose the answer that involved drilling a small hole in the housing and cleaning with brake cleaner. Had the clutch loose in minutes and with a small plastic plug to seal the hole we are back to work.

Many times people ask for help to common problems that be searched, or never post the results so you know if the advice was valuable. In my case both the search and the advice worked great. Thanks!

Many ways to unstick a clutch. Block down the clutch when not in use or in might stick again.
