Radiator Tank Leak

Have a radiator tank leak on my 53 Jubilee. It is leaking at the seam where the two top pieces of the tank come together. Would like to repair it myself.

Thought of using JB Weld, but is there something else I can use???? (Trying to avoid, if possible, the hassle of traveling long distance, finding a shop, spending, etc.)

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I can't help with a alternative to having it soldered, if you take it to a shop to have it repaired make sure that they remove the tank completely and clean the seam properly and then solder the tank back on ,if it is not done in this manner it is only a temporary repair . once the seam separates it fills with contamination and then the solder is only a top coat, it never really penetrates . email is open for questions .

Rened,

If leaking from one pin hole in the seam, small propane tip, low heat and solder will patch it without disturbing the rest of the soldered pan joint.

A rad shop I used to go to gave me a jar of their liquid flux that comes in real handy, like yesterday on my rototiller gas tank.

If you try to post a picture of the leak location, use the "Advanced Posting Tools" section. the other way below that: Upload Photos/Video" doesn't work anymore.
