clutch bolts

I have split my 9N to replace starter ring. removed old ring, ordered new ring. My question is :Should
the bolts holding pressure plate to fly wheel have lock washers? The ones I removed didn"t have washers.
Will it hurt to put lock washers on them? What do you think?

The parts book calls for lock washers on the 6 bolts.

If you are shopping for lock washers, you might want to get them from a heavy equipment dealer or industrial supply house, rather than a hardware store or TSC-type farm store which may be buying overseas from the lowest bidder. A lockwasher is one of those interesting hardware applications where a cheap one may be worse than none at all.

You might want to replace the bolts. When I replaced the clutch on my 9n. The heads came off one or two of the bolts when I tighten them.
