Counter weights, Montana area?

Hello every one, how are things. I am looking for some counter weights for my 8n in the Montana area. Looking in this area so I don't half to drive so far to pick them up. I know I could make a concret block for the three point but I don't want that. I am wanting it to look half way nice, don't want to cobble things together or hoopty it. Thanks again.

Got a box blade or a grader blade you can hang on the back? About 16 years ago, a dealer convinced me I need a counter weight on my Kubota
with a loader. I bought a box to put gravel or whatever in - never used it; just keep my box blade on the back.

OK. I do know were one of them are that I can get my hands on really cheap. Didn't really think about that one honestly. It's a scraper blade I guess I could add a little steel to if I needed more weight. Thanks for the tip

This is how I keep my back blade on my 841 that has a loader on it. Plus that way you have the blade and enough weight on the blade to really do some work. 6 85lbs suit case weights plus the heavy duty back blade sure helps when you have 1500-1800 pound hay bale on the loader

Try the back blade. And thanks for you service. If you were in MO instead of MT, I would give you my ballast box which I have never used. And
thanks for your service. I retired in '95 after 27 years.

Blade or boxblade works ok like said.
Slip Scoop is a little smaller and you can grab a load of dirt when you need more weight, dump it when you don't.

One of my most used implements is a set of 3-point forks.
(every time I take them off...I need them back on..)
So, I built a concrete counterweight onto a pallet.
Need weight, just back the forks up and pick it up.....

Liquid ballast in the tires.

scraper blade might be the best for you,
but you will have to devise a way to attach and lock the weights,
do not want to be looking for them all the time, falling off etc, as they are going to do some serious bouncing back there.

old pond scoop filled with dirt might be a good easy quick counter weight, then as someone else said, just dump the dirt when you no longer need it.

my box blade is a very handy tool and would complement the front end loader, putting the finishing touch to a gravel or dirt transfer job, but with out modification, the counter weights would not hang on my box blade.
