Martha got another good work out

Fabricated Meyers snow plow frame to a Sauder plow frame.
The plow is 6.6 wide. Was really impressed the way she pushed the snow. We got 20" in the Poconos. Was only supposed to get 4"-8"

Whew, Martha is a tractor. When I read the title I thought you were bragging or explains how you passed time during the snow storm. :D

Look like the little 8n did a good job. It was the same here 20+ inches. my tractors also got a work out.

Nice looking tractor. Just image how much more Martha could push if you had a set of tire chains on the rear tires. I'll bet she'd push a house over.

Not a good photo but you get the idea. Switched over from the 9n last minute for more power. It worked good but should have had chains on but wasn't even planning on using it cause we were only suppose to get 3" to 5" what a joke.

That looks great!! I just got done building a similar setup on my Case. 8' Western Plow with a Meyer E47 Pump.

Can you post some more pictures? I'm curious what you've got for ballast there, looks like you've got quite a bit. Also
interested in your plow setup.

It's been a nice winter up til now. I hate the snow. I would rather spend my seat time on a nice spring day plowing
dirt instead of snow. Guess I wouldn't really mind it if it all melted the next day but it will be around for a while.
Must be getting old and cranky.

Here's a few pictures for ya's. That black bucket on the back, is filled with concrete & tires are loaded, with -30 windshield washer fluid. I have tire chains, but fortunately, haven't needed to use them yet. Hope this helps :)

Very nicely done and I want one! I had a Sauder loader which was way too much for the 9N. Scrapped all of it except the subframe which is a great idea. I kept it to make a snowplow just like yours. I was thinking live hydraulics instead of the electric pump - they are dang expensive!!

How does that front axle mount perform with your snowplow? I didn't much care for the Sauder "hangs on the front axle" mounting scheme with the loader. It flopped around too much for my liking. I was planning an engine/transmission mounted tube mount for the front attachment similar to what Myers uses on their truck plow frames.
