front tire width

what are the fattest front tires and rims i can get for an 8n that will match the standard bolt pattern, this would be for my 8n
with tracks, winter i like the narrow tires however in the summer for low boggy land i need something fat

thanks dave

Lots of ways to skin that cat, including implement rims with
different dishes to them and implement tires.
One old school way is to just turn the rims inside out.
These are 215/85/16 and you can see they have tons of clearance.
Doing it this way does add a little added leverage from the
wheels to the bearings but I haven't worn mine out yet.

I don't know why it wouldn't if you have the original rims.
My 2N has old Ford 16 inch truck rims on it.
Those have a lip around the lug nuts so they can't be reversed.

They look like '36 ford deluxe rims and hubs. Your hubs should have the drum attached. Those rims won't mount up
on your standard 9n/2n hubs

Kirk

They're actually on the standard hubs Kirk, but only because
whoever originally put them on there drilled new holes in the
hubs to mount them.

Not an 8N, but for my 881 I found a set of 15" wagon rims with 11Lx15 tires. They work well for me & really make the 881 look tough!
