Ready for snow...

Maybe if im ready for the snow, we wont get any, drug the old 3-point blade out, put on some new pins for the lift arms, and found a toplink. This blade hasnt been used for 20-some years, its a home-built unit, almost 6ft wide. When it was last used it was on. 64 ford 4000. Not sure how a N will do with it, maybe i'll find out.

And always handy with a backblade, the "postion control" option. :).

Wow...looks like the angle on the bottom of that thing is just going to dig itself in and bring that tractor to a screechin' halt.

Does that thing sit flat on the ground when down ? Can be corrected with top link if not. I would recommend cutting the end plates out to allow the snow to escape. HTH

Really havent played with adjustments yet, has many holes on the blade for the top link to mount, i just put it in the middle, its a adjustable top link so im sure any adjustment needed is possible.

Looks good! Turn it one notch sideways and push it backwards.
It'll work great that way before the snow gets too deep.
After that we all are in deep kimchi! :)

With that big monster on back, it looks like you might be riding on just one rib of those 3-rib front tires.
If you use that thing going forwards, you'll pull up all the rock and first layer of clay on any drive that i maintain during winter.

Oh... It will push it...

I was running this 6 foot Dearborn on my 2N. I had loaded rears, and chains on it though? It was pretty useless without chains, BUT, I am pushing 6-12" of snow, sometimes very wet, and on some ugly terrain!! :p
