Nice addition to the herd.
Though I much prefer the 3 cylinder Fords and
know them better, I do recognize what great
machines the Hundreds were. That is an
excellent model.
As for the Ford board vs this one, you will
find the technical proficiency to be higher
there and the helpfulness and love of old Fords
to be no less than here.

I think I saw that one for sale on Craigslist locally.
You'll love the 960 once you get it all fixed up to your liking.
I haven't gotten around to painting mine yet, but I've got it all
working and running properly.
I really like the live PTO and hydraulics that were not on the N's.
It's not independent PTO like your 871, but it still works well.

you're a michigander royce? it's been for sale for quite a while, it was the orleans mi one, there was also a middleville 960,
but needed to finish the 8n before taking on a new project, it needs a bit if work but that's what i enjoy, clutch sticks
sometimes, power steering leak and a rear axle seal leak on port side, may play around with putting arps tracks on it, the 8n
just doesn't have the power to run the arps tracks in my questionable opinion, let me know if you find a choke rod for it, thanks

Yep, just a few miles from where that tractor was.
I do have the choke rod, I posted it on the Ford forum for ya.
If you're over this way stop by and pick it up! :)
