8n loader and heat houser

Have a 8n with walk through loader and whant to add
a heat houser to it . I still want to get in and out
from drivers side . I am what my kids call a old fart
I dont like buying online I would rather buy local and
touch and see what I am buying . Any help would be
good . The prices I am seeing are ok just not sure
what is woeth the price and what is not .

I have the canvas one you saw on my Jubilee and a vinyl/plastic
one on my 2N. The one on the 2N has a roof, which is neat.

The canvas is softer, more pliable in the cold so much easier
to move and check the oil, add gas, etc.

Neither of these are new obviously, but I believe the canvas is
older and it is holding up much better than the vinyl.
The vinyl tends to crack as it ages. Neither of them set outside.

The canvas one is warmer too, but that may be mainly due to the
difference in temp between the red tiger and the flathead engines.

By the way, the blue one on the 2N also has a swinging door
on the side you are viewing. It has to be lifted a bit to get
over the fender, which is good, because otherwise it would
swing or blow open when you didn't want it to.

That one was originally made for the Ford 2000/3000 3 cylinder
tractors and I adapted it to fit the 2N.
Both of them were bought locally off Craigslist. $40 each.

Hey Royce - any chance you have more pictures of the plow mount on your 2N? I would love to get/build a front mount snow plow for Suzabelle!

thanks!
Nick

I don't have any close ups of it Nick, but I'd be happy to take some if you'd like.
It is mounted to a drawbar mount plate on the back, like the one TOH sells,
and held up in front to the bolster.

I'm going to take it off in the spring, never had it off the tractor.
When I do I'll try to get some good measurements to share.
I can take measurements with it on the tractor if needed sooner,
but I think they will be more accurate taken off the tractor.

I'm good with waiting till the spring - hopefully, I'll have a shop to work in by then - if not, at least my fingers won't be as cold!! :p

Thank you, Royce!! I do really appreciate your help and the good advice!
