quick hitch

I am thinking about getting a quick hitch, as I am getting tired of wrestling with the implements. Thinking of a Woods, any thoughts on using one. Does it restrict anything as far as far as putting a little crown on my grader box?

ome implements will not attach to those.

Unless you have all new implements, you will find that the quick hitch won't fit a lot of the old ones.

I store everything on level ground on blocks/pallets and make arms from 2x4's to hold up some of the implements & don't have a problem hooking them up.

Except for the phd. That's a PITA.

hows interference points where there is not enough space for the quick hitch to fit into:

I have new woods grader box and back blade. I have old implements, but do not use them often. I am not sure on the john deere rotary cutter. I usually leave it on the 8n, but would like to take it off easy once in awhile.

(quoted from post at 16:26:56 11/25/15) Are you saying a quick hitch can not be used on my 8n, or just the old implements?
ot with old implements where the dimensions are inadequate in those places marked.

If you have the implements that fit it it is great, but if they don't fit the quick hitch it is probably worse than not having it. Its a big job to modify all the implements, but I use it on about half, the other half I try not to use lol.

For the implements mine will fit in, I like it on my tractors with
live hydraulics. I find it a bigger pain than it's worth on my N's
that don't have live hydraulics.

So I thought I'd be slick and found a good deal on a set of lower
quick hitch arms that still let you hook up the center link manually.
Similar to the ones pictured, but not this brand.
Great idea, but they are too big to clamp onto the N lower arms. :(

My former employer (vintage British race car shop) bought a quick hitch with his new JD. I spent a few days modifying his old implements to fit, but it was not difficult or expensive, and then they all worked.
