sorry for the OT.. but I'm out servicing the dump truck and can't for the life of me find a fill for the tranny!!

Anyone got a diagram or got one and knows where to look.

found drain ( pita spot too ) and another port.. but no way to get a hose to the darm thing.
thanks

none on this dump.

Finallt found it. behind frame rale and clutch linkage. jeeze... nice place to hide it!

Just to let you know saying it has a clutch say a standard transmission which would have helped us help you. You know about lack of info. LOL

Not really.

the same tranny case for the 9r, 9l, and 13 EF tranny that this truck takes all have the exact same fill location.

IE.. only someone familiar with this tranny would have been able to answer.

I finally found the pdf from EF that answered the question.

Ah but if it had an automatic transmission s the one guy said use the dip stick tube. I.E. I got clued in when you said clutch and on the IH trucks I have the fill plug is on the right hand side of the transmissions. But the ones I have are all twin stick which few people even have a clue how to drive any more

These big trucks don't have trans dip sticks like a regular truck.

And as said. the autoshift version of this tranny still had the same fill, and still no dipstick.

these are roadranger TRSM0430 trannies.

Seen more then one big rig with an automatic that have the dip stick tube. Have a friend who has a deuce and a half army truck and it has a dip stick for the automatic it has
