best back tires for the 9n

Always wondered about the feasibility of using truck wheels on our n-series, like the setup the tugs used, as the price gap between a scruffy but usable n-series and a new set of rear tires gets narrower and narrower, so that it just isn't worth putting new tires on an old "worker".

Oold truck tires with chains might be a cost effective alternative for a yard or woods tractor that doesn't need the ultimate in traction. Plus the truck tires would slow the tractor down. I might be tempted to try a set for that reason alone!

are those bald semi tires on the back of a 9n? really caught me by surprise when I saw them

Probably not bald tire but road tread tires from a truck. Would not be all that hard to take a old Dayton type truck rim and weld on tabs to bolt to a modified tractor rim center.
