I hope you have the FO-4 service manual. If you do, it will tell you what those things are and how to rebuild it. Without it, you are in trouble.

anyone out there know where to get the parts and service manual for the hydraulic pump?
do we agree the dowel my finger is pointing to should not be that tight? seems like that is what bent my lever

i believe we are talking about the intake control valve(finger pointed to). should it be that tight?

and the broken piece is at piston?

Dave, your second picture doesn't show up for me so I don't know
what part is broken. I have a 9N/2N pump here for parts.
If it has the parts you need on it you are welcome to them.
The control valves are obviously different, but the broken part I
can't see might be the same. I'm near Ionia, MI.
