I have 12.8x28 turfs on my 2N that I am planning to move to my 8N for mowing next summer. They fit fine but look a little big. I would expect 13.6x28 to fit, but they will look huge. They will also increase the ground speed.

My brother-in-law installed 13.6x28 on his 8N. Now the BREAKAWAY release arm on his DEARBORN 3 point MOWER, touches the inside of the rear right tire. I fabricated a new arm to allow some clearance.

I put a set of 13.6s on a 2N once just to get it sold.
They looked pretty goofy.
Plus on an 8N you have the faster ground speed increasing the already ridiculously fast reverse speed.

What the guys said. I have had 13.6s on N's as I bought them. You can alleviate some of the issues by mounting them on a 12" rim rather than on 9s or 10s. You can also move them out {wheel spacing) if there is a clearance problem with a 3 point implement. They won't then fit into the same tight places that you may have been driving. hth
