Freeman 806 loader?

I haven't personally seen a Freeman 806 FEL before on an 8N. Not sure how it connects to get hydraulic pressure etc. Here's a CL add (the normal disclaimer that it's not mine)

My question is what do you think the value should be, how difficult is it to hook up, where/how does it develop its hydraulic pressure, things to consider looking at it like hoses or fittings??? and anything else I am not smart enough to know to ask or look at :)

Thanks as always in advance

the loader gets the hydraulics from the front pump that attaches to a pulley off the front of the crank shaft. The question to ask is was the loader mounted to that 8n. if so than all the brackets and crank shaft pulley should be there. That said IMO the loader with that size bucket is too big for the 8n. It would be hard to steer even without anything in the bucket, which is why maybe it's not mounted to it. If just buying the loader make sure it's complete with all the bracket and proper pulley.

As Kirk says nice loader but a bit much for an 8N to handle. Most loaders that age are in need of hoses - figure another couple hundred bucks for a complete set of replacements. Pump, cylinders, and valves are also significant expense if they need to be replaced. Hard to evaluate a loader that isn't operational......

Don't know about that brand loader how ever I can assure you that bucket makes steering a bear. I have a Dearborn 19-61 with the grain/snow bucket and is a real bear. Steers better when rotory mower is hanging off the back but not that much better.
