Is this Original or Aftermarket? (pic)

I read somewhere that early N's had adjustable lift arms on the
left hand side. Is this one an original or an aftermarket part?

I believe the threads starter about an inch or so above the forks that hold the lower section of the 3pt arm. Besides I
don't think they were that beefy.

I can't say in the Ns.
That adjustable link was standard on the
3000s so it could be from one of those.
One of those small differences Ford did.
The 3 cylinder 2000 and 3000 tractors were
so close to identical that you wondered why
Ford made 2 different models.
But the 3000 Always had that adjustable
left lift link and the 2000 never did.
I can't say with authority but think the
Hundreds and Priors did not either.

Thanks for the picture Den, the bottom section of mine is about
8 inches or so tall. Not like yours. So I guess its either aftermarket or as Jerry said off a different model tractor.

Looks darn close Jerry. I'll have to see if mine has that flat spot
around the grease zerk. Mine also has a ring/groove around the
top portion that looks to be factory made.
Almost looks like a stop for the lower portion to hit.
Thanks for digging those up!

HiYa Royse-
The early, early 9Ns had the adjustable left lift arm but yours looks like a later type or aftermarket type. LINK below to John Smith's site on tractor ID/History. The picture posted below of the original early 9N one is below too...
