OT - 12 inch rims and tires

No luck so far-thought I had scored at Walmart but holes center to center measured like you are suppose to measure were 4 inch and I have to have 4-1/4..any more suggestions? Thanks

I just measured a Geo Metro 94 wheel and 4 1/4" dia. circle

Have to be measured center to center on holes across from each other-not holes side by side.

Tom most 5 hole trailer wheels are ether 4" or 4 1/2" bolt circle. Here is a calculator.

My Geo wheel is 4 hole and I measured across the hub hole from one side to another.

Thanks Den--Taking it back to the tire shop today--surely tires can be located--rims are not too bad but if i have to I will just send them to a machine shop and get them welded and fixed----tired of messing with them...I know nothing about tire sizes but the ones on it just says 155R-12 --on ebay one says 155R12C--another one says 155R-12 ---I don't care if they are narrower--can't go much wider and can't be any taller----a decent tire sjop will know what is the same and what is taller and what is wider and such---I think they hustdont want to mess with it--no big money in it for them..All this said--I guess I'm giving up on rims and assuming I have the only odd ball 4.25 spaced lugs in the world..hoping the rims can be salvaged...

Maybe swap tires from the Wal-Mart rims onto your existing rims (if they do not sell just the tires)? Just a thought if your rims are ok and just needing tires. I do know that some tire shops frown on bringing in tires purchased from another source. I neglected to ask recently when I had purchased a new set of tires from an online source then took mounted tires to a local shop to get balanced. Even though I carried the tire/rims into their shop and carried out and they simply had to balance they charged me $40 for the 15 minute job. I should have known to ask, and tried to negotiate since they had very little time/labor involved, but some shops tend to try to punish if you do not buy from them.

Geo Metro will have a metric bolt pattern.

I just wonder if you are not missing some numbers on the old tire. it should read like this 155/??R-12 with the ? being anyware from 80, 75, 70, 65, 60 or something like that as that is the height-width ratio. That small size think 155/80R-12 would be the size.
