I replaced all the seals and stacked the body back up. Had a real nice day yesterday so we were able to get significant painting done. Engine is ready to mount on the body. New rubber is awaiting the rims to be finished painting.

Wow...Looks great. I am doing something similar with my 1950 8N, However I don't have the facilities for a complete tear down. I'm working on a piece at a time then reinstalling....

I am very fortunate to have such a nice shop, it took many years to get, but I like it and am lucky to have it.

Thanks for the nice comments.

On thread cleaning, it is in the plans, standard procedure so to speak.

Went back and looked at all of your resto posts for the Jube. Very inspiring and motivating. After all of this work are you still planning on giving it to your friend?

LOL Yes, he has done much of the work and paid for all the new parts. I very much enjoy doing the work with him and can't be more happy that the old iron will be back in service.
