How do you change the bulbs? Do they unplug and change the filament or does whole bulb assembly have to be changed? Tks--can't get it to unplug..

tom, here's a link to what the bulb looks like, it is a bulb that is removed from the housing. they're sometimes a booger to fish out of the lamp housing.

they ARE a halogen bulb, so you don't want to touch the glass with your bare hands. you can expect to pay about $30-ish each from the dealership.

here's a link to what the electrical connector looks like.

hope that helps!

They are pretty simple to change, just crawl under there and reach up to the bulb. The wiring connector has a tab on the top side you press to pull the connector back/off. The bulb has two tangs you squeeze to pull the bulb back and out. The tangs should be on top/bottom of the bulb. It might help you to turn the tires one way or the other for a little more room.

Tks will check today..Seldom use the truck so last night couldn't even figure how to turn
em on--son says one is blown..J put he dash knob in every position and never got a fog
light to come on so maybe both are blown or a fuse--no telling where the fuse is
located..on fender well under hook I assume..

Got it fixed--wire wasn't plugged into back of light--probably been that way since it left the body shop after a little accident a couple of yrs ago and I didn't know it till now--Thanks to all who replied..

Just hope you do not have to put a headlight bulb in it... Book time is .8 hr should be more like 1hr. You will need to lift the front end pull a wheel off peel back the inner fender just to get to one well hidden tiny arse screw.. That's only part of the fun...
