This one is listed as a '51 8N. Somewhere near Grand Forks, ND. Not mine, no idea about its condition other than what is in the ad.

I'm surprised Lisa hasn't grabbed that one. It's up in her part of the country.
Hard for me to get too excited about an N anymore. Even if it's cheap or reasonable.
There's just too many 600, 800, 2000, 3000s out there for not too much more money.

It's mine. I took it in on partial trade last summer for one I sold. This is the one with the starter issue. I haven't and don't have the time to mess with it. We are going to be splitting all our tractors and implements and I will be listing what I need to for sale hopefully this weekend.
 
We're splitting up. Due to everything being at his mother's farm and me living in town in an apartment I have no other option but to sell what what I can before the snow flies. I plan to keep my 51 8n in my garage in town.
 
Hate to hear that. I've always enjoyed your posts and your adventures buying tractors. Hope everything thing works for you. If you ever get down to Florida look us up the wife and I always seem to have a place for a wayward soul.

I'll still be around. I wouldn't sell any of my half if I didn't have to take over the loan and pay off the pickup. That and I cant keep everything in town. We did enjoy the hobby though I probably did a little more than him :) I'm excited for a new start in life that's for sure.
