I spoke here before about my good old friend Ronnie Lee who owned the Shell station when I moved here in 1970 and who shared my love for 55 and up Austins -- he and his wife drove a '55 A-50.
I used to see Ronnie out on his tractor as I drove down Lee's Hill in the south end -- same Lee. I popped in often for tea as well.
Well, his grandson Gordon just acquired Grandpa Ron's Farmall Super C Offset. I was so glad to see Evelyn, Ronnie's wife who is now 97 and to get a photo of her by the tractor.
Got to get a closeup look at a Poppin' Johnny and there was a big Hit-'n-Miss running next to it. the Massey Pony had the ribbon for 1st. I figured the Case beauties won the year before. I'll have mine there next year, Lord willing.
