Been hunting front rim for 4 X 12 tire for Kubota L1500 --still no luck--thought had located one on ebay but dimensions they give do not ck out--waiting and waiting for them to answer my question --want to be sure 4x12 will fit--all kinds of ebay searches turn up very little--L1500 and L175 are same tractor..Didn't even know my rim had a problem till took it to tire shop yesterday to get new tires mounted..main thing is stem hole is rusted out size of a quarter--probably can just JB some of the hole and keep on trucking..
 
I considered that and my Dad offered to do it but rather replace and know it is done and will outlast me,,
 
JB wouldn't work.
Any welder could probaly fix the hole for you.
Or just drill a new hole in another location.
Then patch the old hole from the inside so the tube doesn't stick out.
Hammer a small piece of metal to fit the contour and glue it in with JB.

I'd say if it lasted this long it might just work lol....I JB'd around the stem hole to cover rough,sharp edges--I think I'm going to slap another tube in it and see what happens..Wasn't giving problems before-I just decided it was time for new tires and tubes.
 
Tom.here's one a 3"X12" little spendy ain't they? Are you sure it is a 4"X12"rim?Patch weld or even a patch and JB and drill a new stem hole,paint and go.

Yea, they are proud of that orange paint--at this point I'm not sure of anything--tractordata.com shows 4 X 12 front tires--so worn on old ones couldn't read but near certain old ones were 4 x 12---I know nothing about tires and rims so bear with me--will a 4 X 12 tire fit and work ok on a 3 X 12 rim?? I'm ready to pay the price and be done with it..Thanks
