Industrial 8N motors

Industrial 8N motors, front dizzy. With a mag, are they the same as the tractor engine? It is from a stationary welder. Thanks..

Touringsedan,They are basically the same ,except they may or may not have removable cylinder sleeves in the block.That would depend if it had been machined for sleeves in the past.Also most will have a magneto to fire the plugs.

Don't know if they are the same or not, but a friend has one on a Ford F600 concrete truck!! SUPER cool!!

Still has what appears to be the same hood and grill, but has a hand crank, and a mag.... Coooollll.....

I have one in an 8n, the block was made for angle distributor but it has a magneto on it. I like the magneto, better starting works great. The engine has thin sleeves in it.
