8N running rough

This problem has just started with my 1950 8N in past few weeks,would not start so I changed the fuel screen, new condenser. It runs smooth when no load on the PTO, when I engage the bushog I have to run at full throttle and it seeks like it has a plus misfiring and don't have full power.
Is this a problem with the carb setting or governor going bad?
 
6v or 12v?

Front or side distributor?

It has 3 screens (as in the pic). Which one did you replace?

When is the last time you replaced/checked the points? How about plugs, rotor & cap & set the timing? Have you removed the bolt in the bottom of the carb to check fuel flow?

So you changed the condenser out of the blue? Did you test for spark first? You should have.

Ditto what Bruce said about 3 screens, not one.

If I is lean from fuel starvation I may idle ok but will hunt when fuel demand goes up.
 
yes, did spark test, changing condenser fixed that problem, fuel bowl assembly complete replace with new one and all screens, points and plugs have less than 12 hrs. good fuel flow to carb 12V conversion.

Does it have a front or side distributor?

It would be unusual for a condenser to fail w/o ruining the points. Did you see any burning/pitting or metal transfer on the points?

That's not the question; did you check the gap on both?

Did you replace the rotor & cap?

What about timing?

There is a difference between "fuel flow to carb" and what I asked: " Have you removed the bolt in the bottom of the carb to check fuel flow? "

gonna have to drag the answers out one at a time. we should have heard about the spark test he didn't tell us about, and thus had to ask.
