Need a crankshaft - NAA

You might check with John Smith.
Here's the parts section of his website.
If you don't see one listed, it might still be worthwhile to shoot
him an email. Sometimes he has stuff that isn't listed yet.

Thanks, Royce. Emailed him and he didn't have one.

However I did find a salvage yard that I didn't know was there. Found a few cranks for $150, so that's positive. Also talked my machine shop into grinding the "new" crank at no charge.

Question though: Do casting numbers have to match on a crankshaft? I can't find any info on it, don't imagine ford used a lot of different numbers in 1954. Also do know that they used the same crank and basically the same engine all the way through the 2000.

I hate to talk chit about someone elses work BUT I would look for and pay another grinder...

The fact they even took that job on even if you played apart in it.
To put the icing on the cake took it back in to clean out the oil holes and did not relieve the oil feed holes sure throws up a flag to me...

If there is a positive and I don't see it I hope they used Vaseline for your comfort... :D

Wow!
