The Gasconade almost got me many many years ago. Me and water do not mix well and was swimming in it with a girl friend and got into water a tad to deep for me but I guess it wasn't my time. Yep this old goat don't like water much

It's funny you say that old. I actually raise goats (well my daughter does, I just pay the bills) and goats DO NOT like water. They will not cross a shallow creek unless you drag them half way and when it rains they high-tail it for the barn. My daughters horse just stands in the rain no matter how much it pours. So you're not the only Old goat that doesn't like water

I too have goats and also chickens and chickens etc.
As for the old goat thing that is my sign. My first wife would not marry me till she did a zodiac thing on me to make sure we could get along. She told me fire can not hurt me but water will kill me. I can sit on the bottom of a swimming pool in 4 foot of water so I do not float well.
