Removing Main Spring Assembly from an 8N

I plan to go to a salvage yard and remove a Main Spring Assembly from an 8N. The assembly would have on it a yoke, spring, seat, support, felt washer, plate assembly, and the plunger.
From the parts book, I can see how to remove the pin holding the yoke, and the bolts holding the plate assembly. How do you remove the the pin holding the plunger to the inside of the hydraulic box ?
Can I remove it from the outside or is it necessary to take off the hydraulic cover ? If I have to take off the hydraulic cover, can the pin be removed without taking anything else apart ? Looking at the pictures in the parts book, I am not sure there is room to slide the pin out even with the hydraulic cover off.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

You will have to remove the top cover to access the pin on the end of the plunger. I believe it is the pin in the rear end of part number 540 in the diagram.

fter cover off, I expect that you will need to disconnect the draft control link assy from the control arm to get access to the pin. (pay no attention to pic notes, as I used that in answering another's question)

Got kind of confused when I read your title. My 8N is engine driven. It has no clockwork motor with a big main spring.

Just never heard it put that way before.
