9N rod bearings

Can anyone tell me the width of a 9N rod bearing?? I think they are roughly 1-3/16" but I need to know for sure. I think they will
fit something else I am working on, but I need to know for sure and can not find that measurement anywhere.
Thanks,
Eddie

You will also need to know the location of the locater slot. If you don't get an answer by morning, I will measure one for you when I get to the shop.

OK, I got some measurements for you, but first I need to clarify your description of where the tab is located. Are you looking at the bearing from the SIDE? In other words, like a "C" laying on it's back, Not from the end. I will assume that it is like the "C" and the tab is on the left and at the back. The tab starts at about 0.200" from the back of the bearing and is about 0.190" wide. and extends about 0.030 above the bearing casing. It is about 0.400" long, tapering down as it goes. The width of the bearing is 1.127". The outside width of the bearing case across the opening is 2.260" Keep in mind that I am measuring a used bearing, so that measurement is probably going to be a little larger on a new bearing. The journal opening on the rod where the bearing goes is about 2.220" across the gap. Hope this helps.

Harold,
Thank you so much for your time. You did answer my question, and from all appearance this will work for my application. What i am needing to do is have the crank in my 42 Ford 6 cylinder turned. the rod journals need to go 0.040 under but they do not make bearings this size "for this engine". From what information I have gathered it appears the 9N Ford engine uses the same rod bearings as this 6 cylinder, and, 0.040 bearings are available for the 9N. The rod journal measurements I have are from other published information about the motors, not just hearsay. The only measurements I didn't have were the widths of the 9N bearing across the bearing, and you answered that for me. Again, thank you for you time.
