Need a Generator

I purchased my second 8n today, its 1949. Got it for a great price but there is one thing wrong with it, it has been converted to 12 volt. It's got a real ugly alternator sticking out of the hood. Here is my question, I know I will convert it back to 6 volt so where can I buy a good rebuilt generator and brackets for it. Thanks

I may have one cheap here pretty soon.
Should know this weekend. Isn't rebuilt,
but will be priced accordingly. I switched
my 8n to alternator. Email is open.

I've got a couple out here. A circuit and B circuit. Depends
on how you want to hook it up and which regulator you use.
Pretty sure I have the brackets too, but would have to check.
They're not rebuilt, but working ones I took off when I converted
to 12V. It's hard to find a reliable voltage regulator anymore.
If your alternator is three wire and working I'd trade.

I've got the one from my 49 8N. It literally has eight hours on it since rebuild. I couldn't get a VR to
work and got mad enough to go 12 volt. Now it is sitting on the shelf. $100 down the drain.

I've got one in Northern Il and anyone from here can have it cheap. It's on a donor engine tractor, sure the brackets are there.
