It looks like a fair deal if you can use it. It has the bracket and pin for the cordwood saw. Can't tell from the
photo if it's 1 1/8" or 1 3/8". Most were 1 1/8" so it would matter what shaft you have on your PTO.

At $40, it probably fits the OEM 1 1/8" shaft. Which is fine as long as your tractor has a 1 1/8" shaft. Otherwise, it's makes for a nice door stop.

The ones for the 1 3/8" shaft can get pricey around here. I've seen them sell for over $100.

The pulley is the older laminated (wood or leather)(looks in good shape) and therefore is probably 1 1/8" shaft. It can be modified to fit a 1 3/8" shaft, with a 1 3/8" to 1 1/8" spline coupler. Longer bolts and pipe spacers used to accommodate spline extension. (made mine out of a 1 3/8" PTO universal (cut off) and centered and welded old replaced 1 1/8" PTO spline.
I only use the pulley on the "Ferguson" buzz saw for demonstration.
PS The buzz saw hook up furnished, goes on the top 2 holes and not the bottom to work correctly. Also with the a PTO spline adaptor, the 3rd point hook-up assembly, must be shortened, so the buzz saw folds up between the fenders correctly.
There is later steel pulleys, with 1 3/8" spline, but they are rare.

Looks to be a decent deal for a 1 1/8" PTO pulley.

As others have said, it has the bracket needed for use with a Dearborn Buzz saw. The bracket alone is probably worth $25.00 to the right buyer.

The paper pulley looks to be in quite good condition. Many are not, as they will rot if stored in wet conditions. Having one properly rebuit, though possible, is expensive.

I have 6 or 7 of the 1 1/8" PTO pulleys. I've paid anywhere from $0 to $25.00 for them but have not bought any for years. I also have 2 or 3 of the much less common 1 3/8" PTO pulleys that I have rounded up over the years, and 2 Dearborn saws with probably a dozen blades that I may someday use or restore for display.

Too many projects and not enough time.

I did not know the steel pulleys were rare. I pick one up last year at an auction and it included a braket for the cordwood saw. I will have to check it to see what size pto it fits. Also picked up a paper pulley as well with some belts.
