My Jubilee has just started leaking a loose grease on the outside of the rear wheel. It seems to be coming out from the inner most washer and wheel. This side has been worked on before i bought it. The center depression in the axle was welded up, so using a puller-if required - is going to be a bear. It sounds like a seal, but then again looking at the weld on the axle I'm not sure. Any thoughts, on why one would weld the depression? Is it the seal, or will re torquing the nut help stop the leak. How bad is it if I run it until winter and then tear it down. Not much happening in Wyoming in the winter, except trying to stay warm.
I will note that the previous owner used a John Deere dealer to work on the tractor. Had the brakes replaced and Diff fluid leaked out on the brakes - nice!
Thanks
Gunner
