Lift not working

I changed the piston and seals on my lift and it worked great, however over the weekend I may have need a little rough on it while discing. It now will only work with a very small load. Here is a link of the fluid with the cover off, fluid is pouring down, did I just blow a seal?
Video with cover off

I assume you put in new gaskets. Occasionally the one which seals the hydraulic lift cover to the tractor leaks on the inside. You can not see the leak. what happens is the gasket seal is blown and the hydraulic pressure (2,000 lbs+) strays inside. This could be your problem. If not, consider a new ram piston and rings.

If not ram cylinder end cracked, then check gasket between cylinder & lift cover.

yep.. pull it off.

as said, you may find one of the paper gaskets under the cyl or on the side of the case blew out. very occasionally you see blown out pistons, etc.

post back what you find.

PS. no gasket goop on the gaskets.. it doesn't help..

Yes I put new gaskets on with gasket sealer along with a new piston and piston rings. The video shows fluid pouring out where the ram goes in. I will pull it off tonight and see

gasket sealer maybee got you..

them gaskets go on dry... gasket sealer always seems to cause problems.

of course if you got the backup washer on the wrong side of the oring that don't help either..

Blown cylinder gasket.

Clean all glue stuff. No glue on gaskets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be sure that you use identical thickness gaskets for the elongated gasket and the tow small round gaskets. Different thickness wiill cause the pressure gasket to be uneven seating. Blow!
