Miss matched tires

First I was going to just ask about the wheel center for the right side. But as I looked closer WOW what a difference in tire sizes.
Guess people put on what they have to put on. Wouldn't that effect the drive ability ? Seems way over priced for what he selling.
1939 Ford 9N

It also does not appear to be a 9N but more likely a 2N has the tube type radius rods

It would take TWO brand new rear tires and one wheel to make it right. Based on that, 1/2 of the asking price is still too much.

Maybe not good for it but not particularly hard on it either.
Every time you turn the front tires the spider gears are doing their thing - spinning away, trying to equalize the power output to the rear wheels - so it's not like you're making them do anything they're not designed to do. Maybe doing it a little more but not so much that a year or two of unmatched tires will cause premature failure.

Seems like there are more 1939 Ford 9N's for sale than were ever made. I guess they multiplied like rabbits over the years.

Most of the time people have no clue as to what they have and do not even try to learn what they are. Had more then one person argue with me that they have a 8N when it has a 3 speed or they say they have a 9N and it has a 4 speed etc.

By the way, if there was someone here who was smart in arithmetic - or had the gumption to look it up, you could tell us:
With a 13.6 x 28 tire on one side and 12.4 on the other, what diameter of circle would you have to drive to equalize the spider gears?
