So I'm a total noob with my 2N. I've used my dad's modern Kubota quite a bit, but the 3pt on there seems like a whole different story than this one.
I have a blade and a simple hitch attachment and I've tried with both of them (thinking weight is going to make a big difference). My problem is this:
I just bought the tractor and trans/hydraulic fluid was REALLY low. But the 3pt system worked as I'd expect. So I filled it up until it registered properly on the stick. (I found out why it was so low..after filling, it seems alot of the seals leak in various places now).
Now, I can push the lever down all the way and the implement drops, but as soon as I let go, it comes all the way back up.
How fast it comes up depends on how much power I have it set to. If the power is enough to (very slowly) bring the implement up (when I let go of the lever) then it won't stay down...it'll always rise when I let go. If the power is low enough to keep the implement down, I can't bring it up.
Basically the lever seems to either always bring the implement up (no matter the setting) or never bring it up. I'd assume it should go up/down with the lever and stay wherever I leave the lever (this is what it did before I added the fluid).
Any help for a noobie to understand what's going on here and what I may need to adjust?
Thanks, I just LOVE this forum so far. This is my first problem I haven't found an answer to by searching around (amazing amount of info here!)
