I am replacing sediment bowl unit on a 9n.
what dope should I use on the threads into
the tank?

I used teflon tape on 1st and 2nd go round and pipe dope the last couple times I needed to remove or replace assembly.
May not be right but still no issues so far.

My local hardware store carries it Tom, so does Menards. I would
think the other big box stores probably have it or and equivalent.
It does have a smell to it until it dries, but it works very well.
