Progress on 8N

It is going slow, but I am finally spraying primer. I stripped the Center section with Aircraft paint stripper. Then took it to the car wash and cleaned it very well. The engine was treated to a full rebuild. Primer is Nason 2K Urethane primer.

Touring.........you do know the 8N came equipped with a 4-cyl FLATHEAD engine, don't you? A company called "FUNK" did make an adapter fer 6-cyl flathead '49 pick'em-up engine. Dunno when Ford went to OHV 6-cyl engine, think was 1952. Farmers liked the EXTRA TORQUE of the 6-cyl engine so they could pull a 3-or-4 bottom plow 'stedda the 2-bottom the 8N's were originally designed to do .......Dell

Dell, I am not sure what year the tractor is. I think it is a 1950 the engine is a 1952 OHV Funky conversion.
