NAA clutch job parts list?

So the clutch on my NAA is starting to slip under load.

It should last the rest of the summer, but a clutch is probably in order.

I looked through the past posts and have been trying to put together a parts list of things I will need.

First a question: Are all the NAA/Jubilees 9" clutches?

Other than a clutch kit, alignment tool, throwout bearing/bushing, and transmission input seal, is there anything else to get?

One poster talked about damaged boots on the pitman arms from using a pickle fork. He suggested loosen/hit with hammer. Any comment?

Any links would be appreciated, as would any helpful hints.

Thanks,

Dave

I would think pilot bushing too.
Pitman arms - I think the credit goes to John Smith for the idea,
but loosen the nuts, wedge a splitting wedge or other angled
piece of metal between the nut and the transmission housing,
then rap the pitman arm sharply but not too hard with a 3lb
hammer. I use a body repair dolly myself because its what I
have. If your dust seals are already ruined or painted over and
cracked I'd probably ad them to the list too. That's not a
necessity, just me, but I don't like dust in the grease creating a
sand paper effect.

Below is a link to photos on an 850 clutch job (courtesy of Jim UT ?), I found this quite helpful when I replaced my NAA clutch. There was no need to undo the steering links. Royse is correct, a pilot bearing is a good idea (note, NAA uses a different size bearing than what comes in the 9N/8N clutch kits). Also a starter ring gear if yours is chewed up at all.

Thanks for the replies...I meant pilot bushing and throwout bearing.

Other than a ford dealer, does anybody have a source for the bushings?
