Have a couple more if needed.

That's not too bad, if I find some for that price I would buy two. I'm sure the other side looks the same. I'm in SE Ohio.

cut the band out with a die grinder or angle grinder and then neutralize the rust either chemically, mechanically, or electrochemically, then tack a new band in using scrap sheet metal.

I've fixed worse. Many of us have.

Sell them to someone who wants the hat rims for a restoration and buy new ones for your working tractor.

I repaired power adjust rimes by laying in a piece of sheet metal on inside (tube side) and welding. JB weld on painted side sanded down nice. Looks and functions great. Power adjust very expensive so not sure worth it on this one.

If you're going for originality it could be fixed. BTDT.
Time, effort, welding rod, electricity, paint etc considered,
if you're not worried about originality, cheaper to replace.

also depends on your personality.......
You've seen it.....will it bother you as you are using the tractor?
If so, buy a new one.
I'd patch some metal in there, tape it up, and wouldn't think of it again.
Lots of 'pretty' tractors running around without the new owners having a clue that the rim has been patched.

As an experienced tire man Scrap it and get a new 1. If that part is bad the rest of it is not far behind.
