Anybody got any good ideas to wake up a stuck injection pump plunger?
I read where some guy had introduced air pressure into the injector line back into the pump and got the plunghers moving again.
Tomorrow I am going to hook up my injector tester to the injector line and try to push the fluid backwards into the pump chambers while turning the engine over. I can put up to 3000 pounds of pressure. Hoping this might move the stuck plungers.
Anybody ever tried this?
A long time ago I rigged up a grease gun with diesel fuel in it to increase the transfer pump pressure greatly to wake up the plungers and was successful a few times but I don't have the fittings to try it that way this time???
