Oil leak at the governor

A couple of you may remember me, i'm trying my armature best at restoring this old pull combine. I'm now at the point i'm ready to do the motor. It's a 8N power plant with a hand crank and mag. I've got an oil leak at the governor, and i was also going to remove the manifold to get a better cleaning job. I'm also going to shelf the new carb. i bought, and rebuild (again) the Marvel shebler, and pretty that up too, (thanks Royce for the inspiration there).
Here's my latest vid.

Question: Is there any tricks, things to watch out for, or things not to do, when replacing these gaskets?

Du Farmsabit,Remove the governor and note the position and length of the two bolts for replacement then remove the internals from its housing.Sand the flange mount flat with 220 grit sandpaper on a piece of steel plate or glass pane to get it flat.Wash out and clean, look for wear, replace internals, apply a non harding sealer to the new gasket and replace.Note proper bolt placement to avoid camshaft gear damage.

(quoted from post at 03:27:48 06/22/15) Whew! Thank you, that will save a ton of grief!,,, #1 rule when dismantling something, pay attention! :)

I stopped long ago wasting my time resurfacing the housing... They all get a small bead of Ultra grey RTV I have no leaks life is good...
