I should not be confessing any of this.
Most parts are primed. Paint is on order. New tires...are what got me started.
Belonged to my Great Grandad. Doesn't matter what the old girl is worth...I couldn't sell it...and it needed tires $$$. I figured if I was going to spend some money I might as well try to take it a step further. Most everything else is elbow grease. Least that's what I'm telling everybody.
ebay original oil pressure guage
radiator....
steering wheel....
misc...doo dads
Paint / Primer etc.
a truckload of black beauty.
A little Nickle Plating maybe...got to check into that.
Oh Yeah....and a brand new dewalt pressure washer! OUCH!
Front rims are really rusty inside. Hoping I can save them.
I will coat the insides with POR 15.
Having some fun on my staycation. Should have some paint on it in the next few days.
Will post a finished picture at some point very soon I hope.
So...it's like the guys try and try to tell you. It's crazy! And I'd really like a different tractor, but this is the one and only thing left that Louis had. I am the caretaker.
So I will do this.
