8N oil pump bushing

I am in the process of finishing the complete rebuild of my 1952 8N engine. Do you still install the oil pump bushing and press on the new gear for folks? I have been able to handle the rest of the rebuild, but this is one part I want done right the first time. I could send the oil pump with a complete rebuild kit.
