Waay cool as the teens say!

I must say it was nice to hear someone calling a kingpin a kingpin rather than a spindle even though attached. :)

Edit:
Wait a minute . . . I probably mistakenly assumed you meant longer kingpins for the high crop front, and not the axle center pin -- whatever that's called. but you said "kingpin" singular. (?)

signed,
Confused as usual.

Your subject line cought my attention, so sorry if this
is in an old post some where, as I dont otherwise
have cause to visit the N page, what size tires now,
and what size is original?

One of these days, my Dad is going to try putting
12.4-38 tires on a Case VAC that had 12.4-34's
otiginally since the 34's are nearly twice as
expensive as 38's, and he has a set of 38 rims that
he got for the hauling off, that even have dish centers
can be cut to bolt to the cast wheels on the VAC.

I see you still have you draft arms, so what are your
thoughts on how your mod will impact tje use there
of?

The originals were 28s....these are 38s....I will post back regarding the 3 point once I get the font end done...I will see how much trouble it is to mount the brush hog.. Lol

David , I just put 11.2 X 36 's on my VC . wheels look similar to these. Contact me and I'll show you some pix...

Ho Ho! :D

Once the kingpin was ousted by the spindle brothers gang
The Kingpin needed new turf
So he ousted the front axle pivot pin
and took over . . .

And that's why kingpins are called spindles and the front axle pivot pin, is being called the kingpin, to this very day.
:p

Looking good Ed!
Those make it look tall, not fat. Maybe PHAT? LOL
I got a set out here that look FAT.
I got to get some pictures of those posted someday.

Ed........looks like you'll increase yer gas mileage 'cuz yer always heading "down-hill"........(grin) Dell

Hey Ed, looks good but it's unlikely you will be able to mount your brushog and if you do get it mounted I doubt if you will lift it without hitting the tires. Might need an extra long top link to level the cut.

I've seen fergusons and 8n high crops that they lengthen the arms on the 3pt and I know someone who has an 8n high crop and uses the standard 3pt arms. I guess it has to do with the implement your using.

"Get on it Chum!!..."

Yes sir! Right away sir! LOL
These are 16.9 x 28 Goodyear radials.
The second photo is next to my 11.2 x 28's on my 8N.

Not a bit of weather checking or cracking at all, but cut crooked.
Does anyone know why they were cut that way?
I couldn't pass them up at $50 for the pair.

Maybe I'll build another pulling tractor in my spare time!
Better yet, I could put them on "speedy" there with the
Sherman combo and see how fast it would go then!

I was having a tough time finding a set of 14.9-28's for my 4cyl 4000 NF. Came across a good set of 16.9-28's.
they look and work good on it.(still goes slow enough with the 5-speed)
glad I couldn't find the 14.9's :D

Yeah really Chris...LOL.......not running it around like that.....installing the longer front spindles as we speak!!

Sorry Chum....I hope you DO realize that I was joshing and not expecting you to jump right on it!!!....be that as it may...WOW...Frankentires!!!!

"Sorry Chum....I hope you DO realize that I was joshing"

Oh yes, I knew you were giving me a little grief.
Seems to be normal banter in our conversations! LOL
It just reminded me that I wanted to go take the pictures. :)
