Was in my local mower shop buying some 00 grease that he stocks and he asked me what i used it for. That got us talking tractors. He asked I I had a minute, we walked out back, he had a 630 & an early 8n out there, 630 average, n a lil worse though not bad. 630 ran recently, but had some fuel and electrical issues. He wanted to get them running, maybee sell one, but had a hard time finding info or parts. I printed him out the common Napa parts you see posted here, filters, gaskets, ignition etc. Had a spare old fo4 , older printing to give to him, etc. Really made his day. I think we are going to get his 630 running. I showed him how to make a fuel line from brake line with a tube bender. Nice guy probably in his 30's. He knows lawn mowers, but never did more than drive the tractors.

Maybe he can help you with the mowers down the road. One hand washes the other. Nice to see some of the younger guys want to get involved and are showing some interest in these old fords.

Soundguy Karma, its what makes the world go round.

Kirk you definitely got my 15 year old sons interest peaked in these machines ever since you let him sit on the 900. Just you offering him to let him drive it had him talking the hole weekend. You may have a buddy at your tractor pulls next time.

Jacktown, Pa pull/show/swap meet is coming up july 17,18,19 if you and your son aren't doing anything and want to
take a ride.
I might even take that good running 8n to see how it pulls.
How did you guys make out with that 901? Did you get a chance to look at it?

I tried to go meet the fell a few times but he has weird times that he can meet which is always during the mi-work day. Never on the weekend. I dont want to take a day off just for that.
He's relisted it 3x's.
