I am replacing the clutch and ring gear on my 47 8n . I removed the clutch input shaft to replace the transmition seal and noticed a lot of play in
the shaft , maybe 1/8" in all directions. The bearings and cups look and feel okay . how much play is except able in the input shaft ? Will it be
okay with the new pilot bearing or do I need to look farther.
