AMBER......sorta reddish yellow. Perhaps the indicator for "SLOW MOV'N mobile equipment that is going from FARM FIELD to adjacent FARM FIELD.

My 9n had an amber light on the rear-end when we had a BEAN contract where-in we rented farm fields to grow the beans (lima) for the canning companies in the LOCALE.

My dad was able to pay off his FARM LOAN in just one (1) growing season. CIRCA 1948.
Just post WW2.

The 9N had cultivators installed when on the "road".

Lisa........dunno.....but when I bought my 1969 BMW 2002 at the factory in Munich, (boy was that beer at hauffbrauhous good) it came with red turn signal in center of tail-lite. I had my brother go to the local BMW dealer in Frankfurt and buy some BMW tail-lites with the AMBER center turn signal lite and mail them to me in Pasadena, Calif. Where I was a founding member of the BMW National Club. There is a popular concept that AMBER fog lites see thru the fog better than white lites. Ain't true, ittza LENZ pattern that makes you see thru the fog. But yellow lites don't REFLECT back to you as BRITE as white lites do. Bottom line, you want yer tractor different....yellow would do it. .......HTH, Dell

It's not for any early Ford and doubtful it is for any later Ford as well -BUT so many aftermarket companies sprung up with the N Series tractor making all kinds of things as they tried to cash in on the success of the Ford Tractor. I saw that the other day on ePay and laughed. Ask the seller for his data to verify it as a Ford part. It looks like a Ford worklight but notice there is no ON/OFF switch on the back and the mount bracket is not a Ford.

That's what got me too was it looks like Ford from the front. Guess I got another item to put in the shed. At least it was cheap!
