I started another thread about needing two new tires on a Troy Bilt Horse model tiller (My Dad's) that has been in a storage shed for about 28 years.
Just an update in case anyone was wondering. I got the two new tires mounted and I got the tiller to fire up and run nicely today.
Not bad for sitting 28 years without running. Only had to replace the fuel shut off valve under the gas tank and Napa had one to fit it. Also replaced the plastic fuel line. Ordered a new air filter element from Amazon. I did put some ATF fluid in the spark plug hole and let it sit for 3 or 4 days before trying to turn it over. Oh yeah, I did put a new spark plug in that hole. The thing really surprised me when it fired up.
Now I have to find someone to buy it. I really have no use for it.
