I have bought a 52 8n upgrade from my 50 8n. Lol. The bushog will not stay in position. The bush hog goes up an down at will. It leaves my yard looking like the yard is cut in waves. I suspect my 3 point hitch but readjust itself. I am lost can some help?

Have you tried it in position control AND draft control mode?
There's a little (3 inch long) lever under your right thigh when
setting on the tractor to switch it between the two modes.

Well first off a brush hog is not a lawn mower and will not do a real good job. That said you may have a problem with the cam follower pin or other such problems. Stay chains would also help keep the brush hog where you want it

Three possible solutions for you: 1. Use a finish mower instead of a bush hog. They roll on wheels and do not depend on the hydraulics for
position. 2. Limit chains. They limit how far down the bush hog drops. This would be the cheapest and easiest solution. 3. Remove the lift
and refurbish it. Need a new cam follower pin if the position control is erratic.
